"Simultaneously exploring places I’ve never been and pushing myself to points of exhaustion drives my movement style, sensing calmness and warmth throughout.  Constantly striving to reach a meditative state and opening oneself up to change dynamics. My experience as a black woman informs the emphasis I place on acknowledging and truly seeing others around me. Consciously noticing the differences and complexities of life , giving myself grace. Dance is uniquely me"

'The Collective'

The Collective premiered worldwide at the Cambridge Latin Ridge School in January of 2023. It explores the difficulties people who attempt to break the status quo experience at the hands of others who benefit from the structure and restrictive nature of capitalism and white supremacy. The Collective is a commentary on the hypocrisy we all indulge in by being an integral apart of the problems we are critiquing and thus are slaves to the power structures put in place.
