Blending my passions to tell a story and make real change
ARTISTS ON THE SPECTRUM INITIATIVE
Artists on the Spectrum was created in 2023 with the support of The Doug Flutie Junior Foundation for Autism. I developed this initiative with the support and guidance of Laura Reyes and Allie Peltier.
This initiative combines elements of artistic expression and professional development logistics to uplift emerging musicians, public speakers and artists.
As a Founder, it is most important that Artists on the Spectrum works to educate companies, teachers and institutions on how to employ and/or accommodate their employees, students, and/or artistic collaborators.
With my extensive knowledge of the entertainment and music industry paired with my passion for positively uplifting the autism community, I can make the performing arts sphere more accessible and diverse.
ARTISTS ON THE SPECTRUM
Berklee College of Music Workshop Presentation
This presentation is an example of how I would utilize the issues employee's, contractors and collaborators with Autism Spectrum Disorder face to present functional changes to integrate autistic individuals into the entertainment and performing arts industry.
My workshop's create a space for anyone in the organization, company, or intituition to network with artists with ASD, learn about the disorder and raise awareness about the issues our members the of ASD community faces.
The overall goal of these prentations is to propose different accommadations and resources that could be developed by a company, institution or organization to promote the inclusion artists and collaborators who have Autism Spectrum Disorder need to be successful.
Promotional Material's

This presention was done to give students at Berklee information about features Berklee uses to connect students with job's, gigs and a network. I also held this workshop to provide all students at Berklee the opportunity to be in community with artists with autism spectrum disorder on campus.
By listening to students with ASD intituitions can develop a more inclusive and educated entertainment industry.
In the future I intend to hold similar workshops designed to bring companies, organizations and intitutions to collaborate, learn from and commune with artists with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This short learning tool is an example
of how I would creatively articulate
the problems people with ASD face
and what you can do to change it.
About our Founder

"Over the course of 5 years, I have had the opportunity to become an Talent Management Intern for Doug Flutie Foundation, an ABA Behavioral Technician, and an advocate for clients with autism while simultaneously integrating myself into the music and entertainment industry professionally.
While I was a Behavioral Technician I utilized my prior experiences with children with autism in academic spaces like Boston Public Schools and working at a home-daycare as a kid from 7-18 years old in combination with my dance training.
Creating an individualized curriculum that incorporated kinesthetic learning techniques kept my clients engaged and excited about the work we did during each session. Working in tandem with both the clients and their families taught me how to multitask and how to create a specific set of personalized goals to support the clients growth. As well as managing communication between the parent(s), client and my supervisor while consistently relaying progress updates with analytical data.
These skills align well with developing business strategies for brand growth and managing performing artists. Utilizing the knowledge and experience gained, I cultivated am intiative titled Artists on the Spectrum, A.O.T.S prioritizes the professional development of all artists and bridges the gap. "
